Drywall Screw is a kind of fastener specifically used for fixing gypsum boards, lightweight partition walls and ceiling suspendings.

1.Appearance features
- Horn head design: The most distinctive appearance feature of drywall nails is their horn head design, which is convenient for embedding into the surface of gypsum board without protruding.
- Thread type: It is divided into two types: double-thread fine thread and single-thread coarse thread. The double-thread fine-threaded dry-wall screw has a double-thread structure and is suitable for the connection between gypsum board and metal keel (with a thickness not exceeding 0.8mm). Single-line coarse-threaded drywall screws have wider threads and are more suitable for the connection between gypsum boards and wooden keels.
2.Material and surface treatment
- Material: Usually made of steel, some products are made of stainless steel to enhance anti-rust performance.
- Surface treatment:
Phosphating treatment (black phosphating) : It has lubricity and a relatively fast penetration speed, but its rust prevention ability is average.
Galvanizing treatment (blue-white zinc, yellow zinc) : It has a better anti-rust effect and a lighter color, making it less likely to show color after decoration.
3.Product Classification
Double-line fine-threaded dry-wall screws: Suitable for metal keels, with dense threads, providing more stable fixation.
Single-line coarse-threaded drywall screws: Suitable for wooden keels, they have a fast penetration speed and are less likely to damage the wood structure.
Self-drilling nails: Used for thicker metal keels (not exceeding 2.3mm), no pre-drilling is required.
4.Application Scenarios
It is mainly used for the installation of light structures such as gypsum board, light steel keel and wooden keel, such as partition walls, ceilings and decorative racks.
It is applicable to fields such as home decoration, construction engineering and furniture manufacturing.
