Hexagon self-drilling is a highly efficient fastener that combines self-drilling, tapping and fastening functions, and is suitable for metals, woods and composite materials. Its hexagonal head design makes it convenient for tools such as wrenches or power tools to apply force, and the tip of the drill tail can automatically drill holes without the need for pre-drilling, significantly improving installation efficiency.
Application scenarios
- Construction field: Metal roofs, color steel plates, curtain walls and steel structure purlin fixation
- Industrial manufacturing: Assembly of car bodies, containers, and refrigeration equipment.
- Special environments: Coastal areas, high humidity or acidic and alkaline environments (304/316 material required).
Advantages and precautions
Advantage:
Drilling and locking are completed in one step, saving working hours.
The composite material design strikes a balance between strength and corrosion resistance.
- Precautions:
Material 410 should be kept away from direct exposure to rain or acidic or alkaline environments.
For overly thick plates (such as iron plates larger than 12mm), it is recommended to pre-drill.
